Throwback Thursday: Peanut Butter Swirl Fudgy Brownies from The Fearless Baker

I was in the mood for chocolate brownies and for peanut butter and it was a craving that would not let up. Lucky for me, I found this awesome recipe from The Fearless Baker that hit the spot and was super easy.

Line a brownie pan with baking paper and preheat the oven. Combine butter, oil and chocolate and melt in either the microwave or a double boiler. Add sugar and brown sugar to the chocolate mixture, then gradually add in some eggs. Stir in vanilla then fold in a mixture of flour and salt. Pour into the brownie pan.

In a separate bowl mix melted butter, peanut butter, icing sugar mixture and vanilla until well combined. Dollop this on top of the brownie mixture then swirl around the pan with a knife. Bake until just done, do not overcook brownies, this is a cardinal sin!

Enjoy on its own or with some yummy ice cream!
