So a late lunch/early dinner turned into just nibbling on a cheese platter tonight. Because we are catering for kids and meat eaters and part time vegetarians, I make sure that on these occasions I do include meat, just not much. For 6 people I had one can of smoked oysters and a packet of salami. Also a large assortment of crackers, hummus, roasted red pepper dip, olives, fig jam, brie, aged cheddar and grapes. The kids sipped on caffeine free iced tea while we drank a small glass of pinot. It was a delightful way to end this long weekend!
